TERMS & CONDITIONS

Whilst we will care for your cat to our very highest standards, ultimately your cat is boarded with us at your own risk.

REGISTRATION

We ask all new customers, and existing customers whose details have changed, to complete our registration process.  This includes details of the owner, an emergency contact, the cat requiring boarding, and the cat’s usual veterinary practice.  In addition we ask for a copy of the Terms & Conditions to be signed, as well as a Veterinary Authorisation Form instructing us as to your wishes should we consider veterinary attention to be required.

OPENING TIMES

Monday to Friday

For viewing & initial registration without appointment, as well as drop-off and collection:

10am – 1pm

For viewing & initial registration, by appointment only, as well as drop-off and collection:

4pm – 7pm

Saturday

For viewing & initial registration, by appointment only, as well as drop-off and collection:

10am – 1pm

Sundays & Bank Holidays

Drop off and collection only:

10am – 12 midday

CHARGES

We charge for each full day as well as for the days of arrival and collection.  If, however, collection is made during the morning opening hours, we will refund one day’s charges when collection takes place.

There is a minimum length of stay of three days.

Charges are payable in advance or in full upon arrival.  

No credit will be issued resulting from late drop-off or for early collection of your cat.

We accept direct Bank Transfers as well as cash.  Sorry, but we do not take credit or debit cards.

Daily charges include food [but see also under ‘Food’], litter, bedding and heating as well as administration of medication [see also under ‘Health & Veterinary Treatment’].

1 cat £12 per day

2 cats [sharing] £18 per day

3 cats [sharing] £24 per day

Only cats from the same household may share a pen.  Please note that should it transpire that your cats are unable to share amicably and it is clear that distress is being caused, we will have no option but to separate them for the remainder of their stay.  This will incur extra charges, to be paid upon collection.

DROP-OFF & COLLECTION

Following initial registration and confirmed booking, drop-off and collection of your cat can only be made during our official opening times.

A collection & delivery service is available, starting at £15 per trip.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that plans can change at short notice.  All we ask is that we are notified at the earliest possible opportunity if a booking is to be changed or cancelled.  Any monies that have already been paid will be refunded.

CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR & EASTER

There is a minimum stay of 5 days over these three holiday periods, with charges payable in full two weeks in advance of the arrival day.  Cancellations will be accepted, and refunds given, up to two weeks before the arrival day.

FOOD

We supply a range of good quality wet & dry food.  If you wish to bring your own food there will be a credit to your invoice.  If your cat has special dietary requirements, you will need to bring sufficient quantity to last the entire stay plus a bit extra for contingencies.  Any credit will depend upon the complexity of the dietary requirements.

HEALTH & VETERINARY TREATMENT

Your cat must be vaccinated against Cat flu & Feline Enteritis and its booster up to date.  No cat will be allowed on the premises until the vaccination certificate has been inspected.

We are happy to administer, at reasonable hours of the day, any medication your cat may require, as long as it can be done safely.  Enough medication [in its original container and with clear instructions] must be supplied to last the entire stay, plus a bit extra for contingencies.

If your cat becomes ill during its stay with us, we will act according to your instruction as specified on the Veterinary Authorisation Form.  In the event of our failing to contact either you the Owner or your Emergency Contact, we will contact your vet and seek advice.  Failing that, we will contact our vet and do likewise.  We will always carry out the vet’s advice as to what is in the cat’s best interests.

All costs incurred in seeking advice & any subsequent travel & treatment will be the responsibility of the owner of the cat.

BEDDING & TOYS

All bedding is supplied, and we have an array of toys and scratching posts available.  You are very welcome to bring your cat’s own favourite items in order to make them feel more at home in their new surroundings, but this will be at your own risk.

UNCOLLECTED CATS

In the absence of any suitable arrangement with the Owner or their Emergency Contact, we reserve the right to re-home any cat not collected within seven days of their scheduled departure date.  All costs incurred in that process will be the responsibility of the owner of the cat.
